Have you ever been in a position where comfort started slipping out of the door step by step? You just don’t have that spark or passion like you use to have. Things and people begin to irritate you like never before. The down days start outweighing the up days. You are simply uncomfortable. In many cases when you get uncomfortable, God may be trying to reposition you to better. Sometimes, you just outgrow things and people. If you find yourself feeling discomfort in a situation, seek God for guidance. Don’t seek Him just on one day but let it be a continuous seeking. Pay attention to what He shows or tells you. So many of us stay in uncomfortable places because it is so “familiar” to us. Familiarity can prevents up from growing and from getting to greater. You may be uncomfortable where you are because it is time to move. God may be trying to elevate you. Seek His guidance and He will lead you to where you need to be in life. Be Blessed. -S.L.M.

We all have problems we go through and some of them seem unbearable as if there is no solution. But while we think there is no solution, Jesus is already making a way. He is already performing miracles in our lives. We just have to possess faith for faith moves mountains. And problems are our mountains. He sometimes gives us strength to climb them; other times He may simply move the mountains. Jesus has the power to overturn anything in our lives. And He possesses the power to work in anybody’s life. You can be the worst of sinners but just one touch from Him can be just enough to turn your life around. None of us are perfect nor will we ever be. But Jesus is perfect…always have been and always be. We should let His Perfection work miracles in our lives. All we have to do is trust and believe. Be Blessed. -S.L.M.

I am one to counsel heavily on taking heed to the advice of others or listening to their opinions for this was my weakness. But now that I am stronger and wiser, I honestly do feel that a person really needs to pray about who they are confiding in because every listening ear DOES NOT have your best interest at heart. If they did, what you tell them will never go no further than the two of you and the walls that surround you. Unfortunately, we live in a world where many people have mouths with running shoes. And the path these mouths travel have many twists and turns. That is why by the time things get back to you, it all drawn out of proportion. In your face, you may think you see a concern from another but as soon as they are out of sight, so is that concern for you. I used to be amazed at how many were praying for my downfall but as time and wisdom progressed, I am not amazed at all. The ones who pretend to be FOR you can actually be AGAINST you. Don’t get so caught up in your emotions that you become blind to this reality. God can keep you from that blindness. He will help you to discern these people in your life. Our assumptions will not compare to God’s Wisdom. With whatever you are going through, take it to GOD first. And if it is earthly beings that you need in your life to get through, He will send them. When He does, you will know. God will let you know. I can testify that God is The Greatest Friend. He is a Healer and a Comforter like no other. On this Thanksgiving, be thankful for the Great Friend you have in Jesus!

“YOU CAN’T and YOU WON’T” are two of the biggest lies the devil uses to discourage you in life. In our weakest moments, he comes in and slaps these phrases right in our faces or whisper it in our ears. When we are sightless to God’s promises, we fall victim to the devil’s lie. His objective is to keep us down and blind to who we are in Christ. The devil doesn’t want any of us to know the power that we have as children of God. He wants us to wallow around in our distress until we give up hope in life. He wants us to lose faith. We have to take God by the hand, allow Him to pull us up and stand on His promises. His promises are solid ground and there is no shakiness about it! God promised to supply our needs (Phil 4:19). He promised that His grace is sufficient for us (2 Cor. 12:9). He promised that we will not be overtaken by temptation (1 Cor. 10:13). He promise that we will have victory over death (Acts 2:32). He promised that all things work together for the good of those who love and faithfully serve Him (Rom 8:28). He promised forgiveness (Mark 16:16 & Acts 2:38). God promised eternal life (John 10:27-28). According to Promises of God,  “YOU CAN and YOU WILL!” Be Blessed. -S.L.M.
