WHEN DRAMA STANDS BOLD….

You know the one thing that I have discovered is that when you walk away from some types of DRAMA, it does its best to find you. DRAMA can be bold and will approach you from any angle. It calls you on the phone and if you don’t answer the first time, it keeps calling. It will text message you trying to find that button that will set you off. It knocks on your door and if you don’t answer, it keeps knocking. It used to be that you could ignore DRAMA and eventually it will go away but these days DRAMA stands bold and think it is THE STUFF and won’t back down. DRAMA shows up on your job and causes uproar. DRAMA causes your relationship or marriage to become entangled in turmoil. DRAMA will have you focusing on what “He Said or She Said” instead of what “God Said.” DRAMA is simply an enemy that is designed to destroy everything in its sight, not even for a particular reason, but only just because. When DRAMA gets BOLD, YOU get BOLD. DRAMA steals the Precious Glory of God and God is jealous for His Glory (Read Exodus 4:4, 17 & 18). When dealing with DRAMA, remember who are – a child of God. Become entertained with God’s Words so that you will know the right words to speak in order to stand against that enemy called DRAMA. Focus on doing the “right” things. Don’t be so quick to take sides without God leading you first. Don’t be so quick to speak when what you hear pushes a button of anger. Some DRAMA have to be addressed instead of ignored. And it must be addressed the RIGHT way. You must speak peace and love to DRAMA. You must let DRAMA know that God said happiness is yours and that fact stands. You must let DRAMA know that you desire to be entertained by good things not those bad things. You must let DRAMA know regardless of what DRAMA thinks of you. You must remain positive to DRAMA. You must stand up to it and let it know that you are a child of God and “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn” (Isaiah 54:17). Be Encouraged.   – S.L.M.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Oh My God, please function as a leader in all of our lives on this day and forevermore. If where we are at this moment is not in Your Will, please guide us to the place where we all need to be. Sometimes, we find ourselves making decisions that seem right but prove to be wrong. God forgive us for making those decisions and help us to become wiser. Lord, may Your Will be done in all of our lives. You, alone, are Good and all that comes from You is Good. We place our faith in You. We place our lives in You. We place our everything in You. AMEN     -S.L.M.

GOD’S PRESENCE

I arrived at work early this morning and sat in my car for a while. I have to meditate before starting my day. I noticed a beautifully blossomed bush of pink Azaleas in front of me. And to the right of me, was another bush of Azaleas that had not quite begin to bloom. After a small amount of research and meditation, I found that Azaleas are a representation of first love, delicacy and passion. So I smile this morning and know that God is reminding me of His Presence through that beautiful flower blush. All that He has allowed me to go through, led me back to Him – My First Love, who now is stirring up such a unique and delicate (fine) passion inside of me. This kind of passion makes me want to stay on the right path in life. I did have some things on my mind this morning and I know that God spoke to me through those Azaleas. I could hear Him say, “Look at this beautiful blossomed bush in front you. This is you now. You have blossomed beautifully through Me. Look at the bush to your right. That was you struggling to blossom back then. You allowed me to come into your life but look at you now.” I even attached the pictures of the bushes to this post!! Morning meditations are always worth it for me….always. Be Blessed. –S.L.M.

REMEMBER…..

I look back at how Christ hung on the cross and died for our sins. God gave His Only Begotten Son so that we could be saved. Yet, we are still walking around treating each other with disrespect. We are still criticizing and scolding each other. We are lying and betraying each other. We are being selfish. We are filled with jealousy and envy. We are killing each other, not with just weapons, but with hatred. Can you only imagine how God feels? Can you truly imagine? Take time out today and remember the reason why Jesus hung on the cross. Remember why Jesus died on the cross. Allow the remembrance to change your perspective on life if you are on the wrong road. Allow the remembrance to help you to respect others. Allow the remembrance to help bridle your tongue when you are tempted to criticize and scold. Allow the remembrance to help you to practice honesty and loyalty. Allow the remembrance to take away the jealousy and envy. Allow the remembrance to inspire you to operate in love. God is love. If God gave His Only Begotten Son to die for our sins, then surely He will take care of us. Have a Good Friday and Be Blessed….So Blessed. – S.L.M.
