STAY LOCKED IN GOD’S LOVE

Don’t you just hate it when you invite the Lord into your home and the devil shows up unannounced?  The Lord designs our homes to be of peace and love but of course, the devil hates that. We need to keep our homes LOCKED in love. Once we invite the Lord in, we need to LOCK in all of His goodness, His peace and His love. Sometimes we can end up frustrated or irritated before we get home. It is in these moments, we have got to learn to pray and release that burden to the Lord. If we don’t, the devil lurks outside waiting and plotting. He knows that when we enter our homes with that burden, we will FORGET to REMEMBER to lock ourselves inside of God’s love (which is what our homes should consist of).  We must not leave the door unlocked for the devil to come in. All he needs is a crack to squeeze both him and his entire army in. Once the devil gets into our homes, he will tear it up! He is the most muddled and discourteous houseguest we could ever have in our homes. The devil is a thief trying to rob us of any peace and happiness that we have gained. He will turn off all of the lights and warmth in our homes causing it to be dark and cold. He disrupts our children because he loves turmoil. He will use drugs of deceit to cause havoc in our minds. The devil simply needs to be locked out of our homes. We need to just allow the Lord to take over. If the devil can’t get in uninvited, he will try to INVITE himself in. He will knock and knock and knock! When he knocks, just tell the Lord to answer the door! The Lord is TOP NOTCH SECURITY!

Psalms 91:1-3 “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”  For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.”
